Privacy Policy

DutchClassFinder (dutchclassfinder.com) is an independent directory of Dutch language schools, operated as a sole proprietorship. For privacy-related inquiries, use the contact page.

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, and no newsletter signup. If you save schools to your shortlist, that list is kept in your own browser's storage and never sent to us.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in its server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that assign your browser a random identifier so that return visits can be counted; they hold no name, email address, or other personal detail. Advertising features, Google Signals, and ad personalization are switched off, and IP addresses are not stored. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site.

The contact form is processed by Formspree, which delivers your message and email address to us so we can reply. Formspree processes that data under its own privacy policy; we use it for nothing except replying, and nothing is added to a mailing list.

The suggest an update, add your school, and claim your listing forms are processed by Formspree in the same way as the contact form. What you send is business information about a school, plus your name and email address.

Unlike a one-off message, these are kept on file. We use them to check and correct the listing, to reply to you, and to follow up later about that listing: if the details change again, if we need to confirm something, or if a learner is looking for a school like yours. Claiming or submitting a school is how we know who to talk to about it.

We do not run a newsletter, do not send bulk mail, and never sell or share submissions with anyone else. Ask us to delete yours and we will; tell us not to contact you again and we will not.

Listings describe businesses, not private individuals, and are compiled from schools' own public information. If you represent a school and want your listing corrected or removed, contact us and we will handle it promptly.

Listing pages link to schools' own websites and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

If our data practices change (for example, if we add a newsletter or analytics), this policy will be updated before those changes go live.
