Direct Dutch Institute has been teaching Dutch to internationals since 1985, earning a reputation as one of The Hague's premier language schools. Using the direct method where Dutch is spoken from the very first lesson, the school offers regular, intensive, and private courses at their location on Laan van Nieuw Oost-indië in The Hague. What sets Direct Dutch apart is their integration of Dutch culture throughout the curriculum, with lectures on history, geography, politics, and arts alongside language instruction. Classes are kept small with a maximum of 8 students for personalized attention. Their intensive 2-week beginners course takes students from zero to A2 level with 1000+ vocabulary words, while their advanced B2 course prepares students for NT2 Program II certification.
