Double Dutch Haarlem - Haarlem (Schagchelstraat 15Z)

Double Dutch Haarlem delivers activating Dutch education for highly-educated internationals in Haarlem, with classroom locations in the Schagchelstraat and at the Drosteboulevard plus online options via Zoom. Groups stay very small, 5 to 9 students, for maximum interaction and personal attention.

The teaching philosophy centers on learning by doing rather than passive study: classes involve speaking, games, quizzes, discussions, and laughter, while students prepare material at home. Courses use academic methods from leading Dutch universities and run from A0 to C1 level, including specialized tracks for Afrikaans speakers.

The school also hosts Coffee and Dutch conversation practice sessions — and in good weather, Dutch lessons aboard their own electric boat.
