Koentact

Koentact has been teaching Dutch to internationals in Amsterdam since 2009, with a philosophy that language learning should be fun. Based at Elandsgracht 70 in the Jordaan neighborhood, the school runs group courses of 31 hours over 5 weeks that include something most language schools lack: Saturday field trips. These outings take students into Amsterdam to experience Dutch culture firsthand while practicing conversation in real situations, from markets to museums. The school offers evening courses, morning courses, intensive week programs (33 hours in six days), online courses, and private lessons. Group sizes stay small to give everyone speaking time, and the teaching team includes native speakers who bring energy to every session. In-company training is available for businesses wanting to support their international employees. Koentact also runs the Amsterdam Language Cafe, a community event where Dutch learners can practice in a relaxed social setting.
