TaalSamen - Almere

TaalSamen teaches Dutch from its Marktmeesterstraat base in Almere, with further classrooms in Lelystad and Dronten. Courses run from literacy and A0 through to B2, covering the Z-route, the B1-route and inburgering, alongside ONA and KNM. Classes are capped at twelve students and meet three or four days a week, with evening sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays for people who work during the day. A separate Dutch for Expats course is built around workplace conversation, from small talk at the coffee machine to Dutch working culture. Many of the teaching staff learned Dutch as a second language themselves, and a free weekly Taalcafé runs alongside the paid courses.
