Taalthuis - Utrecht

Taalthuis operates across ten Dutch cities: Amsterdam, Haarlem, Utrecht, Den Haag, Leiden, Eindhoven, Den Bosch, Hilversum, Amersfoort, and Wassenaar. The school targets higher-educated expats, au pairs, and international students who can communicate in English at an elementary level, and its motto is simple: "Taalthuis makes learning fun!"

Courses span from complete beginner (A0) through near-native proficiency (C1). The curriculum runs in structured steps: Beginners Basic (A0-A1), Beginners Plus (A0-A2), Intermediate (A1-A2), Advanced (A2-B1), High Advanced (B1-B2), and To Perfection (B2-C1), each split into parts for manageable progression. Specialized offerings include conversation courses, a Dutch Culture Course at A2 level, and introduction courses for au pairs.

Self-study and e-learning options add flexibility for independent learners, and free level-check consultations help students find their starting point. The school holds both NRTO and CRKBO quality certifications, keeps group sizes small, and coordinates all locations from its Haarlem headquarters.
