EdINOVA - Heerhugowaard

The Stationsplein classroom in Heerhugowaard is the second EdINOVA site in its Alkmaar region. Courses cover the inburgering B1-route and the Z-route for students working towards participation rather than an exam, plus NT1 and basic skills for people whose first language is Dutch. The foundation is active across a wide stretch of Noord-Holland and organises itself by region rather than by branch, which keeps travel times short for students in smaller towns. It carries the Blik op Werk keurmerk, so course fees are eligible for a DUO loan. Lessons frequently take place outside the classroom, in the neighbourhood the student already lives in.
