Learn Dutch in Amsterdam

Learn Dutch in Amsterdam is the personal tutoring practice of Thomas, a former high school Dutch teacher with university education in arts, law, and philosophy. This is one-on-one instruction only — not a traditional language school with group classes or multiple teachers.

Lessons take place near Oosterpark in Amsterdam-Oost, covering grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation, and writing. Thomas tailors lesson content and reading materials to each student's personal interests, believing personalized learning produces faster and more lasting results than standardized approaches.

Sessions are at least one hour, at least once weekly, at €35 per hour — one of the more affordable private tutor options in Amsterdam for students who prefer individual attention over group learning.
