Little Dutchies

Little Dutchies teaches Dutch one to one to the children of international families in Amsterdam, and does it in their own homes rather than in a classroom. Lessons are framed as expert-led playdates, on the reasoning that a child who is anxious about the language will not learn it sitting at a desk. Alongside the tutoring the service offers support for parents, who are often navigating a Dutch school system they did not grow up in. There is no fixed teaching address, since the tutor travels to the family.
